Well, it seems it to me. I've decided to overcome some of my shyness towards writing. How? By doing something crazy and writing a short story. It was an idea I had quite a while ago. A little project to help me get more confident in writing. Oh, I can write, but I always put it off and avoid doing it. So by trying to write something to fit my pieces of artwork (or vice versa) I have something to encourage me and put some enjoyment into writing. I've got the story outlined already (hopefully :P) and I'll aim to keep the chapters really short. It will probably only contain 7 or 8 chapters in total but I'll try and add 2 pieces of artwork for e

Is it worth it?

All the hard work we put into making art? Well, hopefully! But I've got to manage my time better, and my motivation. Using the demo of Cinema 4d R12 to make an entry for the Eve Online Contest. Cinema 4d is still as good as I remember it. It's one of the few 3d modelling programs that I can get my head around. Works really well too. The demo is a bit annoying though, as it does not seem to be saving my screen layouts. It's got some great features, such as a deeply useful physics simulator and joints system. The only grip I have with it, is the same one I have with all 3d programs. That's the inability to create a polygon, or object ontop of

Thanx for favin´ =D
thanks for collecting my ships!
Your welcome. You have a very novel aproach to the ST ships, that even the designers seem to miss. Though I assume that was mainly due to model building limits, not design limits. Some of their concept art is great. :)
I think that the final designs of canon ships has to go through a long vetting process.  The designers have to work with the producers to make sure they'll appeal to the broadest possible audience.  They can do all kinds of crazy stuff on the drawing board so long as the final product is instantly recognizable as "Star Trek," even to the untrained eye.  I think we're lucky because we get to bring that crazy stuff to fruition.
